Beyond Spatial Montage: Windowing, Or the Cinematic Displacement of Time, Motion, and Space, Michael Betancourt’s book recently published by Focal Press, an imprint of Routledge, discusses my concept of “mosaic-screen” (47-49, 57, 84-87) in relation and in contrast to Lev Manovich’s “spatial montage”. It is yet another instance of other scholars productively engaging with my research work; an instance that deserves appreciation.
